4 Week Burlesque Series

Burlesque comes to the Berkshires! Join NYC burlesque performer, producer and teacher Rev. Legs Malone for this playful, sexy and fun workshop Lifeworks! Come with all your gal pals and learn a fun routine to take home! All props are provided! Wear comfortable clothes and be prepared to sport your best "Air Pumps" for a fun stage turnover crash course! The routine may include the basics of burlesque dancing including bumps and grinds, stage walks, glove and stocking peel, boa play, chair dancing and perhaps, tassel twirling!

Reverend Legs Malone is known as the Girl with the Thirty-Four and a Half Inch Inseam. Now based in the Berkshires, Rev. Legs blends the irreverence, sensuality and fun of burlesque with a deeper mind-body connection rooted firmly in self love and self celebration. For more on Rev. No prior experience in dance or burlesque is required - everyone is welcome

NOTE: No personal clothing will be removed. Provided Props such as gloves, boas, socks etc will be used for the fun!

This series will be taught by Morgan Windram. Morgan is an ultra-endurance (that’s anything over a marathon) runner who’s just returned home after living in Scotland for 13 years. As a Scottish resident, she gained an international vest in both cross country and ultra running (2 times!) and won a silver medal at the 2019 100k United Kingdom Ultramarathon Championships. Morgan has built a program of yoga to aid in her own recovery of running-related injury and developed a series of workshops to help you run fast and injury free.
You do not have to be a competitive runner to benefit from these sessions

Learn what you can do to relieve low back pain, knee pain, hip pain, AND stop peeing when you sneeze! Includes an experiential movement/ breathing practice. Plenty of time for questions!

Childbirth Education

Expecting a baby? Our childbirth education classes prepare couples to expect the unexpected. Within four, two-hour sessions, we cover the physiological aspects of birth and labor, postpartum care, relationship and communication building between the couple, community building between young families, and provide referrals for other services in the area. Sessions occur seasonally.

Fall Dates: Sundays - October 6th, October 13th, October 20th, October 27th

Growing Families Day

This is a great opportunity for pregnant and growing families to meet each other as well as professionals who support them (massage therapists, body workers, childcare providers, chiropractors, acupuncturists, midwives, doulas, lactation consultants, and so much more!). Please join us if you are pregnant, trying to conceive, postpartum, or if you work with perinatal women and growing families. Snacks and drinks are providedPlease RSVP so we know you're coming!
